I booked a flight with this company due to the enticing low prices. However, my initial optimism quickly faded. The email confirmation indicated it was a reservation, not the actual ticket, a detail I overlooked. Within 24 hours, a customer service representative informed me that the airline might reject the fare, and I wouldn't receive a refund as per their terms. Now, I'm forced to pay nearly double for a regular ticket, regretting not finding it independently. Despite expressing my concerns about fairness, the rep insisted it was the airline's policy, not theirs. After unsuccessful attempts to upsell, they claimed to contact the airline for approval, only to later confirm rejection, leaving me with no refund option. A significant disappointment.

This company is a scam. Please do not consider using. Don’t be deceived as they sound so friendly and accommodating if you get on a call with them but they will still burn you. Ruined my trip by taking payment and sending confirmation the. They never actually bought the ticket. By the time this was realized the flight I thought I had purchased was 250$ more expensive since it was so close to the departure date. They tried to blame me initially then back peddled and tried to say it was a credit card processing error on their part but refused to make it right. Unless you want to gamble with your traveling plans do not use this company.

Travoport is a scam site--do not do business with them

I bought a ticket at great price, and a few hours later I got a call saying that with my ticket I couldn't bring anything on, not even a purse, and I had to be at the counter at 2:30 in the morning for a 5:30 flight. There were other restrictions. It was a complete bait and switch. They wanted to a fee that was several hundred dollars more than just booking direct with the airline to upgrade my ticket to regular economy. THIS "TRAVEL AGENT" IS A COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. If you do, don't be fooled. There is no ticket. You can stop the credit card payments. They say you can't, but that is just more deception.

I booked a flight to chicago from augusta Ga, they first tell me they are completing my booking, and asked if i wanted to add bags, i said, no and few minutes later they emailed me/ voicemail saying theres a problem I haven't picked a seat, I explained that I let the airline seat me I've never had a problem with this, it gets worse, they then called me and told me that the flight was full, and my flight is on hold, I got a confirmation they gave me that couldn't be verified and said I can't get my money back if i could give a zero, I would.

SCAM

This was a total scam. After purchasing a ticket for $121. they called a few days later to say the price was now over $300 so we would have to pay the difference. After about two hours on the phone with a foreign girl who could barely speak english or explain why it went up and trying to find us a new ticket because now this ticket was unavailable so she had to find us a new ticket. She kept changing airlines and putting us on hold, we got frustrated and knew we were being scammed. Don't waste your time with them.

WARNING this company WILL rip you off. We purchased flight tickets and next day they are calling saying the price we paid was not excepted and an additional $100 + dollars would be charged to keep flight. And of course even though you did not book the higher cost there is no refund just give up what you paid or pay the extra fee. my credit card refunded me and will handle it. So if you were unfortunate to make a purchase through this criminal company check with your bank card for refund.

Travoport is a Scam!!! Scam Website !!!!! In my opinion, TRAVOPORT is a website created to scam people. They display extremely low airfares just to attract people and and trap them later on. The prices they show are just scam. I fell into their trap three days ago. After purchasing four plate tickets on their website, they later told me that they could only issue the tickets if I agreed to pay an additional amount three times the original price, Otherwise I would lose all my money.

This CRAPHOLE company can just shut down COMPLETELY ! Bait and switch and THEFT ! If you're going to use a third party company, be wise and use one that is trustable like PRICELINE, HOTWIRE so forth. I reserved a round trip with Travoport, received an email stating the booking was underway. However, frustration set in when, after two days of silence, I discovered only one leg was confirmed, and the other was on standby. Despite my request to cancel, Travoport insisted on an upsell, displaying what I perceive as deceptive practices. My experience prompts a strong caution against choosing this company for travel arrangements.

I booked flights with this company, got a confirmation, but then got an email the next day saying my reservation was on hold. When I called back, they said no baggage was allowed, not even a backpack, which seemed against airline rules. I disagreed, and the representative insisted I agreed to no bags. He pushed for a baggage upgrade fee, and when I declined, he became unpleasant. Seems like a scam. Better to avoid.

Don't book through TravoPort. They'll try to upsell you by saying the promotional tickets you booked (that they never sent confirmation of) have you on standby, claim they can't refund you, etc. The upgrades they were trying to sell me made the tickets the same price as booking through an airline directly. Not worth the money, energy and time I spent on the phone with them.

NEVER use them, CON ARTISTS!

CROOKS! LIARS! NEVER use them. They hook you with a good deal on flight ticket with out the fine print, then they call you and charge you more, no refunds either. They state they will give you credit that is only good for 6 months, when you look at other flight itinerary they charge three times more than if you went directly to the airline themself. Lesson learned.

Bait and switch scam

This company will bait you to give them money for ticket price that doesn’t exist then email you with a different price and additional money needed to actually secure a legitimate ticket. They think the original money you approved with some disclosure allows them to take that money even though a ticket was never purchased. Who wants to start a class action-reply..!

Scammers! I was quoted a discounted price, when I checked my bank account I was double charged. No tickets. I called and was told they would work on it. Still no tickets. TravoportSCAM ALERT - Call your CC company and dispute the charge for a refund.

Travoport is a scam business. They tricked me into a cheap flight, then marked it up an additional $500 for a carry-on bag. They said the charge was nonrefundable and I would not get my money back. I immediately called my cc company and they told me that they wouldn't allow the charge to go through.

Manager Ashley Martin refused to assist, insisting on the pricey option. Feels like a questionable practice by Travoport, not recommended.

I booked a ticket for X amount. They called me saying that the ticket price had increased by 100% and that the ticket is non-refundable, although they haven't provided me with the actual airline reservation details! NEVER BUY A TICKET FROM TRAVOPORT. THEY ARE A BIG SCAM

The ticketing experience with this company is incredibly disappointing. Instead of providing the purchased ticket promptly, they demand double payment before issuing it. Dealing with them has been an absolute nightmare – an appalling display of customer service.

Cheapflights shouldn't be doing business with them. A scam from beginning to end. Avoid them like the plague. I bought my last minute ticket from Delta for $100 less than the inflated offer they made after jerking me around for a while.

Well time after time waited 20 min only to be told I didn't read the small print. Bait and switch operation. BAIT YOU IN ON CHEAP PRICE THEN SWITCH . I think I'll call my niece Pam Bondi to take a look.
