I’ve never come across a discounted ticket that doesn’t allow even a tiny carryon bag. I'm still upset with your company's rules, but I now understand it wasn't Brooklyn's fault. Your company just has such unreasonable policies, which must've been buried in fine print because I never noticed them! I won’t be doing business with you again, and I’ll warn everyone I know to stay away from travel brokers like you. The assistance I got from Brooklyn was the best he could do...I guess

My experience with this website was nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly urge others to steer clear to avoid being scammed. The website lures you in with promises of unbelievably cheap tickets, displaying prices that seem too good to be true. Spoiler alert: they are. I found a round-trip flight from Phoenix to LAX for $99, which seemed like a great deal compared to other platforms. Excited, I proceeded to book, only to be hit with a barrage of hidden restrictions and shady tactics. After selecting the ticket, I was informed that the price didn’t include carry-on luggage, a personal item, or even a guaranteed seat—essentially, you’re paying for a ticket that comes with nothing but limitations. When I contacted their customer service to clarify, they were evasive and unhelpful, pushing me to accept the ticket with these restrictions. Worse, they informed me that the ticket would be “on hold” until the flight date, meaning I couldn’t access my booking details or confirm its validity until the last minute. This raised major red flags. Digging deeper, I noticed that many of the glowing reviews for FarePorto.com online seemed suspiciously generic, with overly positive language and no specific details. It’s hard to believe these are genuine, especially given my experience and similar complaints I found on forums like Trustpilot and Reddit. The company’s lack of transparency, combined with their aggressive upselling of “premium” packages to bypass restrictions, screams scam. For your own peace of mind, book directly with airlines or reputable platforms like Expedia or Kayak. FarePorto.com’s deceptive practices and questionable policies make it a risk not worth taking. They are Scammers‼️

I agree with the persons I see stating that it’s a scam‼️it is very much a scam and reading the other reviews I realize that just like them I am a victim of this scam. I too got caught with the attractive good deal on a flight, I paid for it I received an email to say booking was successful. Then I received another email the following morning to say there are some pending issues with my flight, when I called them they said they just wanted to confirm my information before they got the flight confirmed as they after it’s confirmed I can’t change anything on it, I went through all that then I was told that they would now go ahead with confirmation. One hour later I was called and told that the flight was not confirmed by the airline, I was then told by another person (they gave me all over the place, transferring from one person to the next) that I was on standby, I was then told I have to pay an addition to what I paid b4 to get a confirm booking or lose out on what I paid before. Without an option I agreed to pay the addition, when the link was sent for the payment it included the amount I was told to pay now and the amount I initially paid it in the beginning‼️ scam, scam, scam nothing but scam‼️ Please note I gave the one star because it wasn’t allowing me to write the review if I didn’t choose a star

Don't deal with this company

They advertised a much lower fare than the airline, so I got suckered into booking the flight for 2 of us. When I got the confirmation, the price for 2 tickets showed up for only 1 passenger. When I called them, I could hardly understand the agent's heavy accent. He said the price was for 2 tickets, but it sure didn't look like it from the confirmation. Then I found out you couldn't bring any luggage at all, not even a carry-on. He wanted to charge me another $200 for the luggage and said something about being in a separate cabin (?). It all sounded so fishy that I told him to just cancel the reservation. He insisted that they don't accept cancellations and don't issue refunds. After some arguing back and forth, I just hung up, called my bank and cancelled my credit card (as many other reviewers seem to have had to do).

SCAM

Good thing I called my bank and canceled the transaction only 10 hours had elapsed and transaction was pending! The Bait you with a cheap flight then call you and tell you it was a promo flight and that no luggage can be brought on board but eager to help you find another flight for $900.00 more lol... They send you a copy of the reservation claiming it's an e-ticket but its just a copy of the reservation that's it, claimed you could pick your seats and that they had already assigned seats that was a lie! because when I checked the arline site did not show this to be true. When I asked do I have to check in 48 hours before the scammer said oh no we will do it for you! Riiiight! ... BIG RES FLAGS from the begging... cancel before the transaction goes th ru!

SCAM!

My experience with these guys mirrors that of many. Once you have paid, they contact you and start telling you about all sorts of restrictions that were not disclosed beforehand. No checked or carry on luggage is included, the date, time and flight route can be changed without your permission, and other ridiculous strings are attached. They then tell you there is nothing you can do because the tickets are non-refundable. The only option is an upsell at "regular price" for a change to regular economy, which is what you thought you bought in the first place. Don't fall for the scam! These guys have all sorts of complaints against them if you research the customer reviews and BBB rating.

It’s a scam.. don’t use it

Fareporto is a scam.. they offer very low fares on the website, then they say it’s not refundable and no cancellation.. and they send you email with a reference number that never exists.. and when I called the original airline, they told me that no confirmation with this number and no tickets.. they don’t write anything on the website and then put lots of restrictions on the tickets, like no baggage or even personal item for international flight!!! And you can’t get your e-tickets except 2 or 1 day before your travel date! And if the flight is cancelled or delayed, you get no compensation! In conclusion, this website is just a scam, don’t use it and don’t let them trap you.
