This company makes money
This company makes money from exchange rates and charges for cable services. They are tricking us with their unfair service. Why? Their excuse now is that money sent through them on holidays won't be processed until the next work day. Sending money that's supposed to take minutes now takes 4 days!

I joined WorldRemit on February 17, 2024, hoping to send money from my South African bank to my children's account in Australia. However, after submitting my South African ID card for verification, I faced continuous delays. Despite following their instructions promptly, I'm still stuck in a frustrating loop of submitting my ID daily. It's been 24 days, and the transfer hasn't happened yet. Their customer service is unreachable by phone, and my emails go unanswered. Even the live chat support abruptly ended our conversation. This lack of response is not only disappointing but also unprofessional. I'm deeply upset by WorldRemit's inability to fulfill their advertised service promptly. The urgency of the funds needed in Australia makes this delay even more distressing.

WorldRemit has caused significant distress as they failed to send a transfer made on December 11th to my family member. Despite requesting a refund, they haven't responded or refunded the amount. WorldRemit's customer service is undoubtedly abysmal. With a rating system allowing zero stars, I would choose that. Dealing with them has been a nightmare. My uncle's account is inexplicably locked, and the support provided is far from sufficient. Despite a transaction from overseas a month ago, the funds have yet to reach my account, leaving me frustrated and questioning the integrity of this company. They seem nothing short of opportunistic thieves.

World Remit, seriously disappointed! Agents left me hanging, total incompetence. Had questions, and they just told me to call? Not the first time facing this issue, it's a recurring disaster. Waited for 4 days, two failed attempts. Every agent I spoke to had a different story. Consistency seems like a foreign concept.
