My experience with the company
My experience with the company had its fair share of challenges. The initial customer service representative lacked experience and was often hard to reach. To make matters worse, he provided incorrect information about the square footage of the stone I was ordering, leading to a significant mistake of 500 square feet.
Fortunately, Anthony Saint came to the rescue when the original representative was unavailable. Anthony managed to rectify the situation, and the rest of the fabrication process went relatively smoothly. However, the delivery process was far from ideal. I was abruptly awakened at 8:00 am by a semi-truck driver who couldn't navigate my street due to rain. Instead of finding a solution, he insisted that we unload the shipment half a block away, adding unnecessary complications.
Compounding the issue, there was no prior communication about scheduling the shipment, and both the logistics and trucking companies bombarded me with calls throughout the day. Rather than coordinating with Summerwood directly, they left me to deal with the problem. After a day filled with stress and tears, I took matters into my own hands, finding a local company called Nevis Shipping to handle the situation.
Despite the disappointment in the logistics and delivery process, I must acknowledge the excellent quality of the shed itself. It's disheartening that the burden of handling these challenges was placed on me, as I lack expertise in shipment logistics and unloading a 3,000-pound delivery. Thankfully, individuals like Anthony Saint from Summerwood and the local company Nevis Shipping demonstrated a clear understanding of customer service, helping me overcome the hurdles and eventually enjoy my charming shed as it takes shape.
