I hadn't often bought trip insurance before.

I hadn't often bought trip insurance before. Even with many years of traveling, I usually preferred to "take the hit" if issues arose. This upcoming vacation to the NC coast made me rethink due to the unpredictable hurricane season. So I decided to get insurance. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the trip due to a hospital stay. Red Sky managed our claim well and looked into everything thoroughly. I'll get trip insurance from them for any future journeys.

The company's services were okay.

The company's services were okay. I got my $500 check as I expected. It took a while, but I eventually got a refund from the condo company for a charge they shouldn't have made since I canceled within their policy. I won't be returning there. Thanks.

My child is battling cancer. I mentioned this when booking a break between treatments with the vacation rental ahead of time. Received an official hospital letter about an emergency room visit. Asked for an additional form which felt like it was pushing the boundaries of privacy. I'm disappointed your company lacks trust, but in the end, the insurance was accepted.
