My experience with this credit card has been flawless. Not only has it helped me improve my credit score significantly—up by 93 points—but also, using the card and managing it through the app has been a breeze. For anyone looking to build their credit score, I highly recommend this card. It's definitely deserving of a solid 5-star rating!

Capital One credit cards offer lots of perks

Capital One credit cards offer lots of perks (5 stars), but you have to rely on their customer service to make the most of them. (Minus 3 stars) 1) They lack a direct line for travel bookings, and the travel voice prompt is faulty, causing trouble. 2) I made a hotel reservation in Mexico that failed. Thankfully, we noticed this before it was too late. 3) I made 2 hotel reservations with wrong bed sizes. This issue made price matching difficult since they only match exact bookings, which is tough with incorrect listings. ($150 extra expense) 4) They ask you to book before price matching, but they don’t list the companies they match prices with ($250 extra expense) 5) I booked a rental car with the right dates and times, but Capital One listed it as 1 day. At the rental place, I was charged for a second day, and Capital One supported this, refusing to correct their own record ($200 extra expense) 6) When I got to the hotel, the prepayment didn’t go through, but it was sorted out. 7) Their team can’t fix errors, only offer apologies and a $50 credit... which they messed up, accidentally giving me a $50 bonus instead.

Company's service decent. They strive to assist, persistent in efforts, which is good. However, system terrible. They requested ID verification, I provided driver's licence, US passport, lease, USPS address proof, utility bills, State Farm insurance, yet couldn't verify me?

Bad experience with the automated system.

Bad experience with the automated system. For the past week, I couldn't check my balance and make payment. Finally, I got payment done through a CSR. Today, I can't check balance, and after saying my card number/using the keypad, it can't detect the numbers keyed in. On the phone for more than an hour. Wasted my time and I still can't get it done. Very disappointed, fix your systems. I have to be able to check my balance and make payment anytime without involving customer service rep. I want to rate this company zero.

I've had a CapitalOne credit card for more than 15 years. Recently, I decided to apply for a Premier CapitalOne credit card online. After filling out the application, I was asked to provide the front and back of my driver’s license, which I did without a problem. I have a solid 816 FICO score. The next day, I got an email saying I was rejected for the card. Now, I keep getting emails offering me different CapitalOne credit cards. Not good. When I contacted them, they told me I would get a denial letter in the mail.

Terrible customer support.

Terrible customer support. The most unhelpful credit card provider I have ever come across. Don't bother using this service, choose a provider with local offices so you won't have to interact with foreign call centers that can only repeat your account details back to you.
