Man, I've been on the language-learning struggle bus since I was eight. Tried memorizing a whole Russian dictionary once – total flop. But hey, we all learn in our own funky ways. Then I stumbled onto Yabla, and it's been a game-changer. Keeps me connected with the language without making me pull my hair out. It's actually fun, hitting all the modes – listening, speaking (a bit), reading, and writing. What's cool is it kicks boredom to the curb, and you don't need to clear your schedule for marathon study sessions. Ten minutes here and there actually does the trick. Plus, it's a steal of a deal. Mix it up with other language tools and maybe rooming with a native speaker, and you're on the language mastery highway. Easy-peasy and a real bargain, my language-learning amigo!

I have found it useful up to now. The interface looks a bit old, but that's not what matters the most to me. I've been using Duolingo for more than a year and have learned quite a bit, though I think it doesn't help much with improving listening skills. Watching videos where people speak in their natural dialects has been very helpful, ESPECIALLY the Scribe feature, which is definitely the most useful language-learning tool I've tried.

Hey folks, Been using Yabla Spanish for a bit now, at around a B1/B2 level. Got a personal note from the CEO, John DuQuette, asking for my feedback. Thought he was genuinely interested, so I spent time writing a detailed report with both pros and cons. But guess what? No reply. I wonder if John really cared or if my email just got lost in the shuffle. Yabla, if you actually want to hear from a new user who's on the fence about continuing, maybe check if John got my email. I find the content variety commendable, yet personally challenging to discover truly captivating material. In contrast to my satisfaction with Yabra-Italian, the overall quality of the French version disappoints. The exercises prioritize vocabulary over comprehension, leaving room for improvement in delivering engaging and comprehensive learning experiences.

I find the program to be great. While my language comprehension skills have room for improvement, I appreciate the opportunity to enhance them. With a trip to Mexico planned for January, I have nearly three months to make progress. I intend to continue using the program until then and will likely re-enroll next year.

I'm not sure what I paid for... month?? or what? Yabla is very tough for me but helpful to my eye and ear. I look for beginner videos and wish there were more. Doing it again and again is important and so I want to continue facing the challenge.
