The resume service was disappointing on multiple fronts. Firstly, the process felt robotic and distant, lacking any personal engagement or effort to understand my unique background and requirements. Instead of meaningful conversations, I was handed a template to fill out, which felt like a missed opportunity for tailored support. Secondly, the initial draft contained numerous typos, indicating a lack of attention to detail and quality control. While the option for further editing was available, the experience left me disillusioned and disheartened. It's evident that there's room for improvement in both the personalized approach to customer service and the meticulousness of the editing process, ultimately failing to meet my expectations for a professional resume service.

I kind of feel like I did most of the heavy lifting here. The initial worksheet they gave me was super long, and all they really did with that plus my old resume was tweak it a bit for their version. Plus, the only real difference between the ATS version and the "visual" one was they slapped some colored bars on the headlines. It left me pretty let down! Oh, and that LinkedIn banner they handed over? It's a bit ridiculous, especially for someone like me in the creative field. It might actually do more harm than good in the long haul. I shelled out for the full package, but aside from a slightly tweaked resume and a list of job sites that most people already know about, I didn't really see the value in what I got.
