I absolutely adore
I absolutely adore TRUCONNECT's services - the customer care, prompt response and order fulfillment. However, the quality of the Ohobes could be improved. If they could get an extraordinary phone to signify their incredible services, they would be the top in the market. I have had a significantly better experience with this Lifeline account with TRUCONNECT than with any paid service anywhere else.

The service provider is good
The service provider is good, which is why I returned. The phone arrived sooner than expected. However, I had trouble twice when I called to activate it. Customer service wasn't too friendly, but they got it working fast after I talked to someone else.

6G of data is not much, BUT they said it would connect to free
6G of data is not much, BUT they said it would connect to free WiFi automatically while out, which should keep data use down. I don't game, but I do use YouTube/IG and Google. By MID-month, it became difficult since TruConnect stopped connecting to WiFi automatically. Would have liked a TruConnect data guide in SETTINGS like other carriers offer. -So my usage got cautious & stressful, trying to figure out how to use my phone until the month was over. Not a great feeling. I usually listen to music on walks... not anymore. HOPEFULLY next month I’ll be more careful with my usage, and TruConnect will fix the WiFi issue when I’m out and about.

So, here's the deal – I put in my order, was expecting this approval email, and nada, zilch. Phone shows up, cool, but hey, where's the year of Amazon Prime I was promised with my upgraded plan? Had to ring 'em up, and oh boy, met this beyond rude customer service rep who practically called me a liar. Weirdly, right after that chat, bam! The email finally decides to show up. Talk about timing. Not the smoothest ride with these guys, gotta say.

If I can put 0 stars I would . This is above and beyond by far the worst phone company that I have ever dealt with in my lifetime. I had an issue where they disconnected my phone. Then when I call them back last time speaking to a supervisor name Sharon they tell me that they are unable to reconnect my phone. She was also unable to properly articulate any answers to any of the questions that I asked her, including what time they even closed she sounded like if she didn’t, she couldn’t communicate and speak. She sounded like if she hadn’t even finished first grade as she could not even calculate what time her company closed and it was just absolutely a horrible experience and I was very very patient all throughout. I was told by Truconnect that I have to transfer my service to another company or I actually have to pay them a certain sum of money to reconnect it, which is basically robbery. I ultimately opted to transfer out my number anyways because I did not want to continue to deal with their poor communication inconsistent information and lies being told as well as long hold times that were over 20 to 30 minutes at a time as well as lack of eagerness to assist a customer in the first place, especially one with an issue to no fault of mine. They even told me that I needed to call them every other day to try to get my issue resolved because there was no guarantee that they would be able to resolve it in one interaction with no phone or service. I was told to do this with no phone and no service and repeatedly told to do this by supervisors that it was actually escalated to. Ultimately told that my number was disconnected and lost forever when I repeatedly attempted to transfer the number out . It was like they wanted to hold my number hostage leaving me no option but just to charge me money to actually keep it .To anyone that does not value their time , is able to be without a phone for extended periods of time that they were supposed to have connected in the first place, as well as risking having your phone just disconnected without any type of notice or any type of resolution to fixing the problem , literally having my phone disconnected every two days when I would call to attempt the transfer out of my service without any proper explanation, not wanting to speak to a supervisor or a competent agent for proper guidance , wants to be kept in constant limbo about the situation have it escalated and no follow up regardless of whether or not the previous agent said that they notated and documented your account, and also provided you with a ticket number, then go right ahead and sign up with Truconnect who should actually change the name to LiesConnect , for those of us who actually would prefer to have immaculate customer service, seamless transaction no inadvertent interruptions and provided with consistent information, I definitely recommend that you avoid this company like if it’s the plague or like if it’s Covid, because if not, you will sorely regret signing up with TruConnect. Go to Safelink or straight talk wireless the hold times are almost nonexistent. An agent typically picks up within seconds. They’re very adamant about helping the customers and go above and beyond, they’ll stay on the phone with you as long as they need to get it resolved and come up with alternate solutions if needed, and they do an awesome job at keeping you informed about the process throughout. Avoid Truconnect it’s been a month long disaster for me so far who knows how long it would be for You.

Today's experience with the company was incredibly disappointing. Despite the field representative's assurance of changing my phone number during the replacement, I faced five disconnections without any resolution. The promised service was never accomplished, leaving me frustrated. Additionally, understanding the functionality of my internet data proved to be a challenge. To add to the dissatisfaction, the glass screen protector was cracked. Overall, my interaction with the company has left me far from satisfied.
