I've dealt with Josh multiple times to buy flights for me and my family. He always makes an extra effort to find the best deals and the most suitable flights for us. I won't book tickets with anyone else and look forward to working with him as we often visit our hometown in Jamaica.

I had a feeling the offer was too good

I had a feeling the offer was too good to be true, but the price looked very tempting. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the low price was just a standby rate, which wasn't clear in the fare notification. In the end, I had to pay a higher price for the flight. The representative was nice and managed to get me into standard economy with a seat assigned. The three stars are mainly because of the misleading price, not the agent's work.

Fraudulent Travel Agency

Travel01 isn’t a travel agency. They are a front for a booking agency. This was confirmed by a Delta agent. She instructed us to go to Delta website to lodge a complaint. We were flying Aeromexico, which is an affiliate of Delta. We booked through travel01 online. When we finished-someone called us from travel01 to actually book us and then charge again for seats on the flight. Apparently we paid for standby service. That was the first red flag. 2nd red flag was the people at travel01 are from India. There are about 3-5 agents servicing there toll free number. They are using alias American names. Once you spend your money, it’s non refundable -3rd red flag. We bought tickets to leave Orlando at 1:59p to Porta Vallarta arriving at 7:50p. Travel01 sent us the correct itinerary, but actually booked us in the system leaving Orlando at 5:47p and arriving at our destination at 11:55p. We ended up spending half a day in the airport since we arrived early at 11:00am. You can imagine how upset we were in addition this was the beginning of my birthday celebration turning 60. We looked like idiots to the actual ticket agent, because we kept referring to our itinerary which we assumed was correct. The ticket agent had to actually show us on her screen that we were booked for the 5:47pm flight and not the 1:59pm flight. Massive disappointment and screw up. We called travel01 got nowhere-they don’t have authority to make any changes on any bookings. If you are thinking about booking through Travel01 after reading this-avoid hard ache and utter dissatisfaction and disappointment!!!

A definite bait and switch & no tickets

Similar to others, they had one price advertised on their website and allows you to purchase the ticket, then they call you late at night saying the return flight is not available, you can’t have even a 1kg personal item, and you have to pay a lot extra. When you try to cancel, they argue with you and say you can’t it’s non-refundable. Do not recommend. Two days later and still don’t have the airfare tickets that I supposedly bought-been no charge as of yet 2-days later. Will certainly file a dispute with the card if a charge ever comes through. I had an unauthorized attempt to change my password on my email that night as well and makes me wonder if clicking on their authorization button had anything to do with it. In any case, steer clear.

Scam And Fraud

I bought a ticket for myself and two kids only to find out that luggage isn’t included in the ticket. They lied to me that I will not be able to purchase additional luggage at the airport or through United Airlines after several frustrated phone calls they tried selling me upgraded version of the ticket when I asked him to issue the tickets just as I bought them from the site, they said the Low fair tickets are no longer available and the only credit I will get was E credit. So I couldn’t get the tickets I bought from them and my payment wouldn’t be reimbursed? I filed a claim through my credit card company but it’s a hassle. This company should be fined by the department of consumer protection.

Crooks-scam- bait and switch

I cannot believe they are still getting away with these tactics. My experience is the same for all of these other 1 star reviews. I agreed to pay for business class for international flight which they charged me for their advertised rate. Low and behold I have economy tickets for 3 legs and premium for one. No business class. I got the same $3700 charge as one of the other reviewers. I will keep on this until someone puts a stop to. We can all report to Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, their state Dept in NJ and your own state. Don’t let them continue these deceptive practices.!

Zero Stars!

Booked a flight, then got multiple emails saying I needed to call because there is a problem with the flight. I call, the guy basically said everything is fine. I get more emails. I chose to email customer service, no answer. I call, get someone else who I can barely understand due to thick accent. She says the flight didn't go through and now it's a standby flight. Of course, if I want to pay $700 more, they can get me a flight. I said I wanted to cancel and a refund. She told me to take it up with the bank and hung up on me! Thoroughly regret ever contacting them!

My experience with this company

My experience with this company was incredibly disappointing. After booking a flight, they insisted on an upgrade that offered no added value. Later, they made a mistake by booking the wrong month, leading to a cancellation promise with a full refund. Although I received a refund from American Airlines, recovering the amount from this company has been an ongoing struggle. Each call results in vague promises of a resolution, leaving me frustrated and skeptical about their legitimacy. I strongly advise against using this website.

Fraud

Same as the others. They offer cheap tickets and get your credit card information. Then call and say your choices are to either pay more or forfeit the original amount. I hung up on them without making either choice. 12 hours later, after receiving a dozen phone calls from 4 different numbers, 6 text messages and one emai, I canceled my credit card. No legitimate company operates like this.
