The opening of Texas Roadhouse in St. Augustine was busy, with many people coming in. The managers and staff were ready and wanted to help. When I got there, I saw they added a To Go window, a good idea I'll use later. Our meal was nice, thanks to Taylor, our server. She was really nice and knew a lot, making our time good. Even though my son was late, she waited patiently while I saved the table. While waiting, I saw Nay, a server, who was different. She worked hard and was kind. I saw her talking to an old couple in sign language, making them happy. They liked Nay a lot, and I did too. I told Chase, Nay's manager, what I saw. The staff's real want to make the meal good is why I'll come back soon.

My daughter, two grandchildren and I had lunch at the Chesapeake VA Texas Roadhouse this past Mother’s Day. Arrived about 12:00 and the place was hopping! Luckily, we were seated immediately. Our waitress was Sierra and she was outstanding! Patient, friendly and very helpful getting some take home croutons for my daughter. I always have the small filet medium well and it’s perfect. Unfortunately, this visit the steak was quite bloody and tough. I ate a small bit and left the rest of the bloody mess on my plate - disappointed. Overall the meal was great. Then I made the mistake of using the ladies room. PLEASE CLEAN THE RESTROOMS REGULARLY DURING OPERATING HOURS. They only have 3 stalls and there were several women cued up waiting their turn. The floor was wet inside the stalls, toilet paper scraps littered the floor throughout, and the toilet was filthy, even on the back next to the wall. Desperately needs a complete remodel and more stalls to accommodate more people.

I put in an order today online for my staff, we were celebrating a birthday. We don't keep utensils. It's tough to eat without a fork. I asked for five packs of utensils, but when I got back to the office, there were none. Small things matter, especially in my situation. When we ask for something, we really need it.

The waiter wasn't good and the food was cold. He said they didn't have strawberry lemonade when we asked for it. My daughter got loaded mashed potatoes, but they were so cold that the cheese didn't melt. The service and food were bad.

Thi's Roadhouse in Texas be one of the worst I've tried. The waitress just took orders n' disappeared, 'cept to drop the bill. She's a r. Even the manager's not friendly, also a r. Seems like they only hire r's here.

I’d rate it a zero stars, but that's not a choice. I used to love Texas Roadhouse, but now I feel different. I went there today and paid $100 for 2 kids' meals and 3 adults. My 6-ounce Dallas filet was a tough, overcooked piece of meat. I asked for it medium rare, but it had no pink at all. It was really hard to chew! My son-in-law’s sirloin was too gristly to eat, so my dog will have a steak feast for sure—probably $50 worth! My daughter enjoyed her meal; her sirloin was a good cut and cooked medium rare with pink inside!
