Even though the Saatva mattress we bought did not work out for us, I can't say enough good things about their customer service from start to finish. I called customer service to start a return of the Prescription Mattress (I have many spine and back issues). There were no questions asked and a pick up was happily scheduled. During this call I was told a full refund would be issued minus the $99 return fee. I was already aware of this fee so it wasn’t a problem for me. On the day of pickup we took off the mattress pad cover and noticed the side of the mattress was bulging in one spot, like a few springs had popped out. After seeing this bulge maybe that’s why my side was uncomfortable?? My husband’s side didn’t have this. I decided to ask if the $99 fee could be refunded since it seems the mattress had a defect. All customer service requested was a few pictures of the spot that may be defective and upon review imediately refunded the fee. We received an email notification within the hour. Even our delivery drivers from an independent company, (same gentlemen that dropped off the purchase picked it up), told me they recently purchased a Saatva for their homes. They also said it’s very rare they have a pickup from this brand, they mentioned a few other companies that get MANY returns:) In the end we decided to get a mattress locally from a different brand, we needed a bed ASAP, but I would certainly buy from Saatva again in the future. I will also share this positive experience with anyone looking for a company that stands behind their product.
