I'm reviewing the Magicycle Jaguarundi folding electric bike. I was in the market for a folding bike that didn't compromise on power for the sake of convenience. Among all the 20-inch folding bikes, the Jaguarundi had the best specs in terms of engine power and torque. It also boasts a stylish look, without being bulky or awkward. The bike arrived well-packaged, and I appreciated the included tool kit. With the help of YouTube videos, I managed to assemble the bike and understand its settings. After several rainy days, I finally got a clear day to take the bike for a spin. In PAS (Pedal Assist System) level 1, the bike took off with minimal pedaling effort, which pleasantly surprised me. My usual riding consists of local neighborhood trips, and I found a nearby hill with about a 3 percent grade. I downshifted and increased the PAS level to 2, and the bike effortlessly climbed the hill. The display showed 12 mph and provided a good watts reading. For local rides, the battery should last quite a while. The ride is smooth, and the flat T-style handlebars make steering the bike easy. The Jaguarundi takes me just about everywhere I need to go. There's one additional feature worth mentioning—the bike has cruise control. After 8 seconds of throttle-only riding, the bike maintains its speed. This is a significant advantage for relaxed cruises along the coast or longer rides.

When you reach a certain point with electric bikes, they all pretty much feel the same. Magicycle is one of those brands. Hydraulic brakes, a 20amp 52 volt battery, lights, and all the rest. But when you start thinking about the extras, like customer service, that's where you'll really see the difference. In my experience, Magiccycle's customer service has been solid. I ordered a throttle, but it was out of stock, and they asked if I wanted a refund. I told them I could wait because my old throttle still worked. When the throttle finally came in, they sent the wrong one by mistake. They recognized it immediately after I sent some pictures, and within a single email, the correct throttle was shipped out. As for bikes, there are a few good ones out there, but I think Magicycle stands out. The service they've provided is better than some bigger brands. The Deer is my third e-bike, but I would buy it again without hesitation because I know if I ever need help, they’ll be there. I haven’t had this kind of service anywhere else in the industry. You kept me updated very well about my bike—when it was shipped, where it was during shipping, and when it would arive. Great job! It even got here earlier than I thought, which was a nice surprise. I was really looking forward to getting this bike and hoped it would be just like I imagined after reading so much before buying from Magicycle Bike’s website. I never got a bike like this before, so I was a bit nervous about it. Your updates about shipping were very helpful, but what really stood out to me was how well the bike was packed. Whoever planned the packaging did an amazing job—it only needed the front wheel put on! Once out of the box, the bike was simple to set up and just what I wanted. Thanks Magicycle Bike!

I bought the Magicycle Space

I bought the Magicycle Space Grey Ocelot Pro eBike when it was first released in September 2022. It's been an excellent bike with a robust battery that provides me with extended mileage on my rides. I've taken it across various terrains, from local roads to off-road trails, and it handles them all exceptionally. The pedal assist options are easy to use and work flawlessly. The Magicycle Ocelot Pro is a high-quality product, offering stability and reasonable pricing for a heavy-duty fat tire step-through eBike.

I got my Magicycle 26 inch Deser from the shop

I got my Magicycle 26 inch Deser from the shop nearby (PowerOn E-Bike). I like all about the bike. I am 6'2'' 225 lbs. and the fit and riding position are perfect. Power and performance are great. I ride daily and can't wait to hop on and ride more.

I received a defective battery

I received a defective battery charger, and I contacted customer service. After providing the required information and paying for the shipping, they agreed that it was indeed defective. They promptly sent me a replacement that works.

Getting the bike was easy.

Getting the bike was easy. It runs fine even without power. Climbing hills feels good. The parts are really good. I'd get another bike from them. Get a Magicycle Ocelot Pro!

I am quite pleased.

I am quite pleased. I've used it for a few short trips around town, just 3 to 5 miles each time. This bike handles the hills well and is fun to ride on flat stretches.

I got a Cruiser Step Thru with fat

I got a Cruiser Step Thru with fat tires and it's super strong, even on hills with my heavy body. I got 30 mph with pedal assist.

This company, let me

This company, let me tell you, has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I bought one of their Cruiser bikes from their Canadian website, specifically because I thought they were a Canadian company. But to my dismay, the bike ended up shipping from China, which was not what I signed up for. The real headache began when the battery failed after just six weeks of use. I had to go through hoops for three weeks, sending them videos and photos, just to get them to honor their own warranty. And even then, they tried to sell me a replacement battery at a discounted price, despite their warranty stating replacements should be free. After shelling out $60 for shipping (even though the bike had free shipping), I thought my troubles were over. But nope, five or six weeks later, the battery failed again. This time, they had the audacity to claim the warranty was void because I dared to ride the bike in -26°C weather, even though their website didn't mention any such limitation for Canadian customers. Their customer service is a joke. They'll give you the runaround, change their story, and conveniently ignore you when it suits them. And don't even get me started on their shady practices with reviews—they'll delete anything less than glowing to keep up appearances. To add insult to injury, they shamelessly ripped off the design and name of their bike from another company, and now I'm stuck with a $2500 paperweight. If they won't make things right, I'll make sure everyone knows about their deceitful tactics. I'll spread the word far and wide, and if need be, I'll even involve the authorities to shut them down for good.
