I had multiple interactions with Tim Walker via phone and email, and not once did he mention that this company is only a broker. I provided him with a detailed inventory of what needed to be moved. I even contacted him to add more items, and he gave me a revised quote. It was only when the movers finally showed up several days later that I realized Long Haul was just a broker, not an actual moving company.
Tim's quote was way off, and I ended up having to shell out an additional $2680 for the move, when it should have cost me only $1437.52. To make matters worse, a guy named Joe Ryan was texting me while the movers were there, and I asked him to call me, but he couldn't be bothered.
I called today to speak with a supervisor regarding the relocation specialist and got connected to someone named Jake Gomez. Jake seemed to be playing games and treating my situation as a joke. He never identified himself as a supervisor initially, and about five minutes into the call, he suddenly claimed to be one.
Jake also asked me about sending an email, but to whom? When the senior relocation specialists can't be bothered to return my calls, and I'm treated poorly by a customer service rep on a power trip, what am I supposed to do? No one has had the decency to call me back, and I was never informed about any email. This whole experience has been a frustrating mess.
