My experience with Grow Therapy has been outstanding. I joined their platform roughly a month ago, and the impact has been remarkable. Within just one to two weeks, I successfully acquired six new clients. This rapid growth was a significant boon for my private practice, which had struggled to expand with a private-pay model and limited availability. Joining Grow Therapy allowed me to generate additional income and build a more substantial client base. One of the most rewarding aspects is that being on the Grow Therapy platform enables me to reach individuals who might not have been able to afford private-pay services. It feels fulfilling to provide therapy to a broader and more diverse audience. The platform itself is incredibly user-friendly, and I appreciate the prompt and effective support they offer. Overall, my experience with Grow Therapy has been positive, productive, and lucrative.

Grow Therapy has been an incredibly helpful company since I started my own private practice. The onboarding process was simple and easy to follow, and the support provided throughout has been wonderful. They assisted in credentialing me with different insurance companies, and their prompt response and knowledgeable staff have been invaluable in addressing my questions. Moreover, they actively connect me with referrals to help build my business. The seamless calendar syncing feature makes it easy to communicate my availability, and they actively support marketing my practice and connecting me with more clients. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the support from Grow and am excited about building my practice further with them!

The website is simple to navigate. I like the online scheduling, and contacting my therapist is quick and easy. It's simple to change or cancel appointments, and I can easily see my progress so far. I also find it helpful to track how many sessions I have attended. Everything is easy to understand. The only issue I've had is checking my payments (deductible, payments so far, unpaid invoices, etc.). Maybe the site doesn't have this option, or maybe I just haven't figured it out yet.

Someone to confide in, who GETS me, and understands my frustrations and where I am coming from--that is so hard to find these days. Negative Experience with Grow Therapy

On June 6, 2025, I received an email from Grow Therapy stating they would not be moving forward with my application following a video interview I had with Matthew Harkema, their Provider Growth Associate. I want to share my experience with the interview process, which I found disheartening and unprofessional. During the interview, Mr. Harkema appeared disengaged and uninterested. He asked no questions about my background, showed little curiosity about my clinical expertise, and offered minimal interaction. The tone was cold and dismissive. While I had initially considered not pursuing a partnership due to how uncomfortable the exchange felt, I was still surprised to receive a generic rejection email that gave no real feedback or reason for the decision. As an LCSW, I focus on treating eating disorders in women of color, an underserved population in the mental health field. While Mr. Harkema did not directly address this during the interview, I could sense a lack of openness to my clinical focus. As a Black clinician, I've had enough experience to recognize when my identity and area of expertise are being subtly dismissed. It's disappointing that a platform claiming to support diverse clinicians and inclusive care would allow this kind of interaction to occur. I hope Grow Therapy ensures its recruitment process is more respectful, transparent, and culturally informed moving forward.
