Quaker from Birds4U seems nice, but confused. Bought yesterday. Told to put vitamin drops in water. Around 4 months old. Don't know why. They didn't explain.

Totally disgusting! Their customer service skills are non-existent. Don't expect a professional response, you won't get one. Unreliable. No time for their customers. AVOID THEM!!!

If you're in the market for a hand-tamed lovebird, I suggest you steer clear of this place. I made the mistake of visiting after seeing a video of the bird I was interested in. Despite being labeled as "hand-tamed," the bird was kept alongside others and only seemed tame because its wings were clipped. This made it less suitable for my teenage son, as it wasn't as steady as I hoped. Additionally, the shop only accepts cash, which raises some questions. It's best to find a more reputable shop or even consider buying directly from a breeder.

This company is really good at understanding your needs and providing great service. They gave me advice, a care sheet, bird food, and even a bonus bag of seeds when I bought my green quaker baby. The courier service was also a great price. They answered all my questions on WhatsApp and even sent me videos. The shop attendants were excellent and caring, keeping me informed throughout. I traveled 111 miles to buy my Quaker Parrot. I received very helpful and knowledgeable service, and there was a good selection of birds. Although I encountered a small issue, it was promptly sorted out, so no problems so far. It's still early days with my bird, and he's very shy, but that's normal for the first day or two, especially since he was sold untamed, as I knew he would be. It took another bird I had from elsewhere about a week to chill out, so I'm optimistic about the bonding process.

Prices were good, and overall it was a positive experience, although not fantastic. There were no major issues, just some minor delays in delivery, which were not too much of an inconvenience. After checking out Birds4U, I found it to be an average pet store. They offer a decent range of birds, reptiles, and animals. When I ordered some pet feed, they delivered it promptly. The quality of the items was okay, nothing extraordinary. The staff were communicative and supportive. Overall, my experience with the company was ordinary. I don't have any complaints and think it's okay to do business with them.

Don't SPEND YOU HARD EARNED CASH on these people. Bought a bird from them and a week later it passed away. Woke up yesterday to find it dead. When we got the £400 bird, we were told it was just shy and would be fine after a few days. After 3 days, we called them, but they said the bird needed more time. 6 days later, it's dead! £400 with no ring, no papers. We reached out to defra bird association; they’re now investigating all the birds from this company. My vet says these birds are wild-caught and sold to shady sellers like birds4u. Just be careful and don’t be misled by their smooth talk. Once they have your money, they don’t care.

Don't repeat my error when searching for a hand tamed lovebird. I got a video of the bird and chose to visit. The so-called 'hand tamed' birds were with many other birds. The bird appeared tame and would sit on a finger, but there is one reason for this - IT HAD IT'S WINGS CLIPPED. The owner understood this bird was for my son, so it needed to be very calm, but it isn't. Please look for a good shop or even better a direct breeder.
