I was unsure at first (and many other firms offer similar services as cushion), but it proved useful for building credit. I have a good amount saved in a high-interest account, so I use "buy now pay later" to keep the balance steady. I've seen about a 50 point boost on Equifax and 20 points or so on Trans Union. I also use it for all my subscriptions (and I have many) including Hulu, Netflix, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, Good RX Gold, Peacock, Max, and the Epoch Times. Having so many bills paid on time each month seems to help, which is why I have so many. I recommend having a credit card too since I'm not sure this reports to all three credit bureaus.

I’ve connected many things to my Cushion account, like my car wash bill, utilities, Netflix, Hulu, hospital bills, and more. I appreciate how they track and show me how much I’ve spent on bills each month. I rate it 10 out of 10 so far. I’ll update you on how much my credit score improves.
